Using a script or add-on that scans GameFAQs for box and screen images (such as an emulator front-end), while overloading our search engine. There is no official GameFAQs app, and we do not support nor have any contact with the makers of these unofficial apps. Continued use of these apps may cause your IP to be blocked indefinitely. This triggers our anti-spambot measures, which are designed to stop automated systems from flooding the site with traffic. Some unofficial phone apps appear to be using GameFAQs as a back-end, but they do not behave like a real web browser does.

Using GameFAQs regularly with these browsers can cause temporary and even permanent IP blocks due to these additional requests. If you are using Maxthon or Brave as a browser, or have installed the Ghostery add-on, you should know that these programs send extra traffic to our servers for every page on the site that you browse.

It's just wild speculation though.Īlso, at least two different axe/shield models have been spotted being wielded by the npc lizardmen. Some people have taken it to mean that both characters were worked on, but cut later in development, possibly to be finished and released as DLC. Later, a person claiming to be the same leaker (hard to say, as they were anonymous) adjusted the earlier leak and revoked Hwang and Lizardman, citing a lack of evidence. An early leak got the entire roster correct (including Inferno), except it also included Hwang and Lizardman. Yeah, well, ol' Lizard boi is my favorite character, so I've been collecting, comparing, and analyzing every scrap of info we've been getting on him throughout the game's development.Įarly on, there were leaks of the entire roster, credible in that they called out Azwel (new character) by name, several months before he was revealed. The first art of Lizardman shows him as being left-handed, but wielding a sword, while the second art and the in-game appearances of his axe moveset are both right-handed. He traded the sword for an axe in SoulCalibur III as part of his story, and was depicted as being left-handed from then on. Also of note, Lizardman in SoulCalibur 1 (and the bonus lizardman in SoulCalibur 2, who was not Aeon Calcos), wielded a sword and was right-handed. In both artworks, he's depicted as wearing the same armor he had in SCIV (this game seems to be really short on modelers), as well as the lizardman race's lizardman model, which again is derived from his appearance in SCIV. There's also art of the Lizardman (AKA Aeon Calcos) in the story, where he's shown with a sword and shield, and then there's this piece commissioned for the game, where he's shown with an axe and shield. There are lizardman npcs you fight in some of the modes which use an axe and shield (the weapons he had in SoulCalibur III and IV) with moves that are distinct from Sophitia, the character whose style he was originally derived from. However, his fighting style isn't selectable, but it still seems to have a presence in the game.

It would seem that he isn't in, but you can make a lizardman character in Creation thanks to the Race feature. His presence is the strangest mystery about SCVI.
